Why, at this point, the film “The Truth of Nanking”

“The Earth revolves around the Sun.”

Galileo Galilei denied the Ptolemaic system that the Christian Church had been teaching and defended the Copernican system that the Earth revolves around the Sun. I have been interviewed by many of the overseas media, and the question they always ask is: “Why are you making a film that denies the Massacre of Nanking?” They asked the question as if the Massacre had really happened. Now, seventy years since the fall of Nanking, the Communist Government of China is promoting a campaign for making a film about “the Massacre of Nanking” not only in China but throughout the world on a large scale. It is said that the funds for this campaign are more than 300 million yen, and this amount of money reveals that this campaign is a large-scale propaganda with a firm will and a strategy. But it's not just the film. Last year, they extended the “Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall” in Nanking spending 4 billion yen, and now, they are trying to register it to the World Heritage Site. While Auschwitz or Hiroshima, two of the World Heritage Sites, are real occurrences, the Nanking Massacre is the Chinese Communist Government's eager attempt to turn it into a real occurrence in an irrational way. What are their purposes?
Here I recite the three main reasons that we can think of. One of them is to conceal the “massacres” that the Communist Government of China has been repeatedly committing on its citizens since the Government was established by making up the history, “Massacre of Nanking” by the Japanese military. In particular, they want to hush up their massacres - such as that of the Tiananmen Square protests of 1989, the massacre during the Cultural Revolution, and the massacre of 1.2 million Tibetans in their invasion of Tibet - from their bloody modern history. As a matter of fact, the descriptions about the massacres of the Tiananmen Square protests, the massacre of the Cultural Revolution, and the invasion of Tibet have been removed from their history textbooks. Instead of that, “the Massacre of Nanking,” that occurred 70 years ago and one which few Chinese citizens know about, is being incorporated as a major topic. The dictators of one-party rule - who have been committing repeated massacres in truth since the country was established, and still doing so in some regions such Uighur at the present - are using the propaganda for the made-up Massacre of Nanking to dodge their own crimes.
The people dirtied with blood do not have right to complain or argue about “the Massacre” at all.
Another reason is that to prepare for a war. The absolute serious problems such as human rights, the environment, and the extreme economic gap in the country are getting worse behind the big economic development and the expansion of military power. It is said that the Chinese economy in this year would be collapsed being led by the Olympics. And it is the “Massacre of Nanking” campaign that the preparation for transferring the contradictions within the country to the outside of the country for preparing against this collapse. The Chinese Government is trying to shift the citizens' anger from the tyrannical system of dictatorship to Japan, providing the “enemy,” the symbol of hatred, for the Chinese citizens. The results of the propaganda involving the countries in the world are increasing steadily.
The third point, in contrast to Japan, in order for the establishment of the final “History Card” China is constantly increasing their emotional edge. Contrasted with the problems of comfort women and weapons abandonment and so forth, they only look at the cowardly fools that stem from the Japanese government and its citizens. It has been seventy years since the fanciful incident, but to my understanding, they can usurp our countries money and technology.
In other words, countering the standpoint of Massacre of Nanking campaign, it is not just the simple dispute of historical truth or Japan's boastful honor, but also the matter to not cause a raucous during the Sino-Japanese War and disputes of military security. If you reword this, the conspiracy of the Massacre of Nanking was a horrible act that overthrew peace and harmony.
Opposite to the citizens that had no hope of the American government entering the war, the Chinese Communist Party administration were made to develop the same thinking as the “Remember Pearl Harbor” war campaign promotion in the present day. Our “Anti-Nanking Massacre” motion picture is causing a commotion of the “Security Guarantee” that protects Japan's safety and peace.
If we examine the positives of the event that has become the “Massacre of Nanking”, we can deepen our belief that such things like this did not happen. To the extent that if we examine the details of the base argument of the Chinese government and Japanese citizens who argue the mass killings, the proof does not exist. It is a lie. According to the political purpose of historical fabrication, the truth is murky.
Most likely there will be more than ten movies produced about the Nanking Massacre and this movie will be the only one in the world that defines the opposite viewpoint. Now, according to this film, we must make known to the people of Japan and the rest of the world the grave truth that the “Massacre of Nanking” did not transpire. The rape and pillaging performed that was coincidental with the massive killings, the misguided minorities, and wrong truth about the designed events must be conveyed to people inside and outside of the country.
We cannot allow the fabrication of historical events by the Chinese Communist Party and quietly expose the lie and political intent. This is to protect the pride of Japan and its citizens and it is the duty of the living Japanese to do this for our children's future.
Again, in order for the journey ahead, to protect the safety and harmony of Japan and its citizens, this news will be told.
“The Massacre of Nanking” at the International Military Tribunal for the Far East was unexpectedly brought up.
Again now, identical to the “Tokyo Trials”, we will overlook the fabrication of history and pray for spiritual benefit against the money-stealing threat of our Chinese counterpart. Once more, we will completely defeat the gossip of the Pacific War. The honor and character of us Japanese people is being questioned.
